Nearly a year after launching its Moments feature, Twitter is following up on its promise to finally open up the platform to all the users globally. Twitter announced yesterday ( via a Tweet ) that Twitter is rolling out a new feature that allows all Twitter users to create their own Moments, the collections of Tweets connected by common subject matter that the site first introduced in October 2015. Moments feature uses tweets, images and videos to track real time events like breaking news, live concerts and sports events. Clicking to the section on Twitter takes you to a kind of user generated contents with various categories on display. You can click your Moment of choice and you arrive on a link that lets you scroll through the collected tweets, images & videos. Twitter to End Character Limit Count On September 19

Social media giant Twitter's unique USP, the 140-character limit is all set to disappear on September 19, 2016. Now, Twitterati will get more space to write and communicate. Despite this change, Micro-blogging website Twitter will stop counting media attachments, including images like GIFs, polls, usernames, videos and even quoted tweets won't be included in this (140 character) count. The change was announced earlier this year , by CEO Jack Dorsey, who said the move was one of the biggest changes in recent times. He claimed the move would give the "complete expressiveness of 140 characters". "Twitter first announced plans to stop counting extras like photos, videos, and user polls toward the limit back in May, but gave no firm date on when the shift would occur," TheVerge reported on Monday .
